Web Developer

Successful Boston-based marketing and creative services agency seeks highly skilled web developer with a diverse skillset. The prospective web developer will work on a variety of B2B and B2C accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with the agency's interactive team to understand business needs and bring to fruition the best interactive solutions:

• Help to properly estimate upcoming projects with existing and potential clients
• Lead the build of new web sites and applications from scratch, utilizing a variety of different web technologies
• Maintain previously created web sites, applications and servers which our agency is responsible for overseeing
• Assist in IT maintenance within our small office
• Work alongside our project managers and designers on all projects to create the best possible product
• Investigate latest technologies and share knowledge company-wide
• Be a value-added participant in the interactive process by lending a helping hand at whatever capacity required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Strong skills in PHP, .NET, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, advanced SQL (SQL Server and MySQL) required. Code samples will be requested.
• Experience in Flash development a major plus
• Experience in these other areas a plus, but not required: classic ASP, network maintenance, e-commerce, AJAX
• Good communication and organization skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects of varying sizes and priorities simultaneously
• 2-4 years' experience in an interactive agency or traditional agency with interactive capacity
